As the hum of the hospital monitors faded, I was enveloped by a profound silence filled with vibrant energy. I hovered above my fragile body, which was struggling against pneumonia, observing its battle with the weight of existence. Instead of fear, an indescribable peace washed over me. In that moment, I felt no longer bound by the physical realm. The room transformed into radiant light—soft at first, then brilliantly luminous. Three figures emerged, familiar yet nameless, echoing pieces of my soul that had long awaited my return.
“Are you ready?” one of them asked, their words resonating within my very being. I paused, contemplating my journey. “No,” I replied with unwavering resolve, realising that I had much more to accomplish. The beings offered no argument; they simply smiled with timeless understanding. You will serve them,” they proclaimed, wrapping me in the promise of a mission—a calling I had yet to fulfill.
Then, I was back. I awoke to the sterile scents of the hospital, accompanied by the hum of machines, but I felt a shift within. The world seemed sharper, infused with hidden meaning. Although I survived, I knew I was forever changed. Pneumonia had brought me to the brink, but a deeper force sent me back.
As I faced cancer, that same light and promise guided me through the darkest moments. I didn’t just survive; I transformed. My vision expanded, allowing me to perceive beyond the ordinary. Intuitive insights flowed like whispers, revealing profound truths I learned to trust. My hands carried healing energy; I became a Reiki practitioner, a healer, and a modern-day storyteller.
Through these gifts, I realised that healing transcended energy work; it involved rewriting the narratives that tether us to our pain. I had worn my cancer story like armour—a survival tale intertwined with trauma. Seeing others trapped in similar loops, I understood my purpose: to heal and empower others to rewrite their lives. I began sharing my journey on stages and in intimate circles—not as a victim, but as a testament to rebirth.
I illuminated the truth that our pasts do not define us and that energy shapes our realities. The words we speak and the thoughts we nurture weave the threads of our futures. My biography which I am tenderly crafting stands as proof that light is always waiting to guide us through even the darkest times.
As a testament to transformation, I help others release their old stories and create new narratives. I know the power behind the question, “Are you ready?” and I understand the strength in responding, “No, not yet. There is more for me to accomplish.” The light that once enveloped me now flows through me, and I serve with unwavering commitment, just as I promised I would. This is how the power of the pen healed my soul.
