Honouring the Resilience of Our Bodies:

Updated: Jan 23

A Call to Corporate Leaders & Changemakers

The hum of hospital monitors faded into silence as I hovered above my body, watching its fragile state fight for breath. Strangely, fear did not grip me—only peace. In that moment, boundaries dissolved, and I was enveloped in light. Three familiar yet nameless figures stood before me. "Are you ready?" they asked, their words felt rather than heard.

"No," I answered. There was more I was meant to do.

That near-death experience reshaped everything. Pneumonia brought me to the brink, and cancer tested my resilience, but something greater sent me back. A purpose. A mission. I returned with heightened intuition, a deepened connection to energy, and a call to heal—not just myself, but others.

The Body as Our Greatest Ally

As corporate leaders, change-makers, and light workers, we often push ourselves beyond our limits, expecting peak performance while neglecting the very vessel that carries us. Our bodies show up for us daily, adapting, healing, and sustaining us—without judgment. Yet, we hold ourselves to impossible standards, internalizing the expectations of others and mistaking self-worth for productivity.

But what if we led differently? What if we honored the wisdom of our bodies as a strategic asset? Healing is more than physical; it is the rewriting of internal narratives that keep us stuck in survival mode. We must learn to recognize the energetic blocks that hold us back from clarity, innovation, and fulfillment.

Removing Energy Blocks: The Key to Transformation

Energy is everything. Think about a time when you walked into a room and immediately sensed tension. Or when a conversation left you feeling drained. These experiences are not coincidental—they are energetic exchanges.

Now, imagine carrying years of unprocessed emotions, stress, and trauma. These energetic patterns become ingrained, influencing how we lead, make decisions, and connect with others. The corporate world often addresses strategy, mindset, and emotional intelligence—but rarely do we discuss energy.

The truth is, unless we clear these blocks, we remain stuck. No amount of leadership training or personal development can override an energetic misalignment. Healing and peak performance require addressing not just the mind and body, but the energy within.

A Ritual for Corporate Well-being & Leadership Alignment

As leaders, integrating intentional rituals into our lives fosters resilience, clarity, and deep presence. Here’s a simple yet profound practice to realign with your purpose and unlock creative energy:

Ritual: Reconnecting to Clarity & Purpose

  1. Create Sacred Space – Find a quiet natural setting, whether a park, garden, or even a quiet corner with plants. Bring elements that ground you—crystals, a smooth stone, or essential oils.

  2. Center Yourself – Sit comfortably, close your eyes, and take deep breaths. Feel the earth supporting you. Apply a perfume elixir or essential oil to engage your senses and anchor the present moment.

  3. Gratitude Reflection – Write down three things you appreciate—focusing on aspects that bring you joy and fulfillment.

  4. Energetic Release – Hold a stone or other grounding object, visualizing it absorbing any stress or negativity. When ready, place it back on the ground, symbolizing release.

  5. Set Intentions – What energy do you want to bring into your leadership? What legacy do you want to create? Write down your intentions, sealing them with a deep breath.

  6. Closing – Wiggle your toes, stretch, and bring awareness back to your physical body. Acknowledge your commitment to leading with authenticity, presence, and purpose.

The Future of Leadership: Energy-Aligned & Purpose-Driven

The most impactful leaders integrate mind, body, and energy into their work. Resilience is not just about endurance—it’s about alignment. Innovation doesn’t just come from strategy—it emerges when we remove internal resistance. True leadership is not about control—it’s about flow.

If you feel stuck, if your leadership feels disconnected, or if you know there’s a deeper way to serve, the answer is within. Listen. Honor your body’s wisdom. Remove the blocks. And step into the leader you were meant to be.

Are you ready?

Because now is the time to say, “Yes.”

Blessings and balance,

Jodiann
